The winter season really plays havoc with our skin and especially our feet. I have looked around for the best value foot sock brands that promise to nourish and protect the feet.
Here is a list of brands I have tried and tested to see which one offers the best solution and value for money.
As always Irish Consumer has not been gifted or paid to advertise any of the brands featured.
Boots Tea Tree & Peppermint Foot Socks 3/5
I liked these socks they are good value for money and feel very soothing on the feet. They’re easy to use and help moisture feet without peeling.
I think they would be ideal for tired feet that have no callous or hard dry skin as they are not peeling foot socks.
Overall nice product for the price point and my feet felt a little softer after use.
Top tip
Make sure to leave on feet for a minimum of 20 minutes and wash and bath feet before and after use.

This product is great for relaxing and unwinding after a long day. They have a nice scent and really help reduce cracked heels and dry skin on toes.

Softsole Exfoliating Foot Peel 4/5
My preferred of the foot socks, this product really helps reduce the amount of dry hard skin on feet. I recommend bathing feet beforehand and after use and keeping socks on for 90 minutes.
After bathing feet, exfoliate and pat dry. It takes a few days and a maximum of 10 days to see the results.
Softsole is ideal for difficult dry and cracked heels and helps soften pressure point areas on toes and back of feet.
The only downside is the amount of waiting time for skin removal, but worth the wait when you see the results.
Top Tip
Do not remove dry skin until it’s ready to fall off naturally and wear white socks.
