EditorMAC Cosmetics are offering free makeup when you return your empty Mac products. This is a great way to reduce the number of items you have to recycle while getting rewarded at the same time.
Similar to H&M Conscious who take in clothing and materials in exchange for money off vouchers. MAC is offering their customers an incentive to reduce the amount of packaging for recycling while getting something back in return.
So how does it work?
Simply collect six of your empty clean MAC containers and return them to any MAC store and receive a free standard lipstick of your choice. This means your used lipsticks and pretty pallets will get a new lease of life and will not end up in a landfill.
What beauty items are exempt from the Back to MAC deal?
The BackToMAC scheme unfortunately doesn’t include travel sizes or limited edition packaging. However, these items can be recycled at home or at any of the free recycling banks around the county.
Can I exchange the free lipstick or get a refund?
Unfortunately, there is no option to return lipstick or refund.
