Reduce Reuse Recycle

It is difficult to pass on savings to customers in today’s current climate, with expensive transporting costs, packaging, and high rental prices for retail outlets. Every year thousands of valuable unwanted garments and textiles are thrown away by customers when a large majority of items could be reused and re-worn. Recycling your clothing can be very cost-effective as it will reduce expensive bin charges, as well as help, improve our planet.

The H&M Conscious aim is to eliminate as much cost and waste as possible by turning your recyclable clothing into environmentally friendly fashion lines that are good for the planet and great for your pocket.

How do I get my H&M discount?

As a thank you for your donation, H&M will give you a €5 voucher to spend in-store and online on H&M  clothing when you spend €25 or more.

Please bring your donations to your local H&M store and ask the staff for further details.

What happens to my donated textiles?

Here is how your unwanted garments are reused and turned into useful resources.

  1. Re-wear clothing that can be worn again will be sold as second-hand clothing
  2. Re-use old clothing and textiles will be turned into other products, such as cleaning cloths.
  3. Re-cycle everything else is turned into textile fibers or other such use as insulation.
