National Fish and Chips Day is back!
The one day offer is valid all day, in participating Irish Traditional Italian Chippers around Ireland.
The Irish Traditional Italian Chippers Association, (ITICA) has announced the annual ITICA National Fish & Chips Day, will take place to celebrate over 130 years trading in Ireland.
Customers will be treated to half price fish and chips to celebrate the annual tradition and to thank communities for their continued support over the years.
Currently, with over 200 members around the country, ITICA was created to promote and build on the traditional values and ethos of the Irish Italian chipper community in Ireland providing excellent service and quality of food to their customers.
What chippers are involved in the Half- Price promotion?
All ITICA member chippers carry the official ITICA logo, which assures customers of the highest levels of quality and service. The Irish Italian chipper culture was started by members of the Irish Italian community who arrived in Ireland in the 1880s from a group of small villages in Val Di Comino in southern Italy.
To avoid disappointment it is recommended customers go to their local participating chipper as early as possible to avail of the half-price fish and chips offer and to avoid long queues and delays due to high demand of this one day deal.
The National Fish and Chips Day 2020 is cancelled this year due to COVID 19.
